Before the day ends, I often think, “Oh I would want to eat something sweet.” My friends would look at me in a little bit of shock because they think that as a vegan, I only eat salads. But I love vegan desserts.
I cannot believe that people continue to think that a vegan’s diet is only limited to green food and other meat substitutes. There is always much more than the mixing of herbs and spices with vegan substitutes. I prove them wrong by concocting one of my five favorite dessert recipes. I love how the taste of sweetness swirls in my tongue as I take a delectable bite.
What I love best about vegan desserts is that they are good tasting and healthy. I don’t worry if I am eating too much and I also don’t have to worry whether my guests can eat my food or not. If you enjoy making vegan desserts I recommend you try at least one of these. Especially number 3!

Green Tea & Hazelnut Ice Cream
For something a little different why not give this green tea and hazelnut ice cream a try? Don’t worry if you’re not normally a fan of green tea, the flavour here is very subtle and goes brilliantly with the earthiness of the hazelnuts.
Creamy Dreamy Peppermint Patties
Luxurious, invigorating, melt-in-your-mouth peppermint patties made from scratch! Even better than store-bought versions. Many of you gushed about these in the comments section. I suggest keeping these in the fridge or freezer for the best texture. The chocolate coating gets all snappy which is a wonderful contrast to the creamy middle.
Strawberry galettes with pistachio crumble
The recipe is four basic stages: the dough, the compote, the crumble, and then putting it all together and baking. All said, these are very easy and quick to put together. But because you need to let the dough chill for an hour, then cut the round galette bases and chill those for another 30 minutes, plan on spending some time in the kitchen for these. But trust me, they’re worth it!!
Orange & Blueberry Cheesecake Recipe
This is delectable! I am so proud of myself because I haven’t used chocolate in a recipe for a few times now. This is all fruit, all the time. the color of chocolate desserts gets boring after a while because it’s always brown… ya know? This cake has a vibrant array of colors that are naturally pleasing to your pretty little eyes.
